This development broadens the range of credential technologies accessible through its adaptable, interoperable reader platform.
Organisations can now utilise a Gallagher Employee Badge in Apple Wallet for both physical and logical access. The credentials permit users to open Gallagher access-controlled doors and verify identity at rf IDEAS WAVE ID® readers, supporting applications such as single sign-on, secure print, and visitor management.
Seamless integration enabled
The WAVE ID readers are designed for compatibility, securely reading, and authenticating credential data from Apple Wallet directly to downstream applications. This facilitates seamless integration across systems without necessitating changes to existing infrastructure.
Gallagher credentials, built on NXP® MIFARE DESFire® technology, use secure, shareable keys that can be provisioned once and extended to trusted third-party devices like rf IDEAS readers. This approach enables organisations to deploy a single mobile credential across various systems and reader environments without reissuing credentials.
