Elmdene has appointed Jessica Barbaro as its new Regional Sales Manager for Europe South

Innovative electronic fire and security products manufacturer, Elmdene International Limited a subsidiary of Potter Electric Signal, LLC announces the appointment of Jessica Barbaro as its new Regional Sales Manager for Europe South.

In her role Jessica will be responsible for supporting Elmdene's wide-ranging commercial activities across Southern Europe, liaising with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities. To achieve this, Jessica will work closely with Elmdene's International Sales team, promoting the benefits of the company's fire and security products and, crucially, helping to win orders in key target markets.

Jessica is certainly well equipped for her new position at Elmdene, given her outstanding language skills; having dual French and Italian nationalities with fluency in Spanish and English. Having lived in all these countries and understanding the subtle cultural differences between them will prove invaluable. In addition, Jessica graduated recently from the University of Portsmouth with a Dual Awards degree in European Business and through this, and her wider work experience, has a strong appreciation of best business and sales practice across a range of industries.

Commenting on her appointment, Jessica Barbaro said: "Since joining I have found through discussions with customers that Elmdene has a tremendous reputation in the industry for bringing to market innovative solutions, whether it be the Merlin graffiti detector or switch mode power supplies, and the Regional Sales Manager position offers me a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop against this backdrop. Being able to communicate in the language of the countries I will be dealing with will ensure that I am best placed to assist the team in supporting and growing Elmdene's business."
