Identiv, a global security technology company that provides trust solutions for premises, information and everyday items, recently announced that it will host a uTrust TS Readers Online Workshop Series for end users and system integrators. The workshops will provide practical information on security issues and technology solutions.

The online workshop series kicks off on Tuesday, June 17. Identiv will host a workshop for end users on technologies available for building access management at 11 AM ET. A second workshop for system integrators will take place the same day at 1 PM ET, focusing on proximity and PKI technologies for access management.

What: End User Workshop: "Building Access - Succeed by Seeing Tomorrow"

  • When: Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 11 AM ET

What: System Integrator Workshop: “Prox to PKI at the Door”

  • When: Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 1 PM ET

Many of today’s security breaches are a direct result of weak or compromised building security. Outdated security systems based on proximity cards, for example, can lead to unauthorised entry and subsequent network access.

This workshop series will explore how security breaches may be avoided with the right technologies and best practices. Workshops will cover technology trends at the door offering strong credential authentication and user validation, the benefits of a single identity across an entire enterprise, how to reduce ownership costs with cloud management technologies, and technology migration options for more secure systems.
