Genetec was selected, for the third year in a row, as one of Montreal’s Top Employers
Genetec employees are provided with attractive retirement and profit sharing plans
Genetec was selected, for the third year in a row, as one of Montreal's Top Employers.  Published by The Montreal Gazette, the annual listing showcases the best employers in respect to criteria such as physical workplace, atmosphere, health and family benefits, vacation, internal communication, performance management, professional development, and community involvement.

Evaluated by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers, organizations entering this competition must offer insight into how their internal business strategies, corporate culture and staff incentives offer their employees more than simply employment.  Companies who complete the extensive application are compared against other employers of all sizes and industries, to pinpoint which organizations are making pro-active efforts to offer the added benefits of a forward-thinking and stimulating work environment.

"We are very proud to have received this award for the third year in a row as we continually strive to show our employees that we appreciate them,"  mentions Joëlle Couture, HR Manager at Genetec.  "Whether it is being flexible on work schedules, getting a new stair master for the office gym or taking the day off for fun team building activities, we try to do our very best to cultivate a positive experience for every employee in our company."

In addition to the office gym, pool table, Playstation, flex hours and frequent social and teambuilding activities, Genetec employees are provided with attractive retirement and profit sharing plans, and most importantly, an environment where employees take an active part in the company's decision processes.  ‘'Valuing our employees by ensuring their well-being and development is amongst our most important core values at Genetec," adds Ms Couture.

Receiving this recognition for the third time shows that Genetec has invested a lot in preserving our unique corporate culture even through significant growth and expansion.  In order to fulfill the increasing demand for our solutions, many new positions in several departments are currently open.
