artec, maker of IPTV systems wins milestone contract from major European service provider
artec technologies AG has just won a significant contract from a major European service provider in the agricultural-technology branch. By doing that, the internationally recognized manufacturer of network-based video surveillance, broadcast-confirmation and IPTV systems has once again won out over several well-known competitors.

The contract means another milestone in the history of artec technologies: for the first time, the corporation is cooperating with a highly recognized partner from the information and telecommunications branch to provide a complete solution which enables the optical surveillance of numerous sites of one enterprise. In additionally planned stages, optical fire-recognition will be integrated into the system through the use of an image-analysis process.

At the same time, the contract is an expression of artec’s increasing success in the value-creation chain for customized projects. This results from the company’s ability to provide the entire solutions pallet from project design, recording systems, cameras, and implementation all the way through to service and support in one package, for both standard as well as made-to-order projects.

“The considerable volume of this new contract counts as one of the largest single installations in the business field of security technologies this year. Following on the heels of the recently announced major orders in the field of broadcast industries, we are pleased to show such success in gaining shares in this market as well. In our eyes, this confirms the strategy which we began in 2011 of concentrating on customized projects and specializing in special solutions and market niches,” says Thomas Hoffmann, CEO of artec technologies AG in his comments on this transaction.
