Raytec's VARIO helps cameras produce superior night images and generates longer illumination distances

VARIO, the latest lighting development from Raytec, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Security Excellence Awards, for ‘Security Innovation of the Year’.

Already a finalist for the Detektor Awards, VARIO is a significant step forward for lighting in the security industry. It not only changes the way that security professionals design and specify lighting, but also re-defines standards for night-time surveillance.

VARIO helps cameras produce superior images at night and generates longer illumination distances using less power. It makes over-exposure and noisy images a thing of the past, even for the inexperienced lighting integrator.

With multiple angles available from one product, VARIO makes the specification process much easier. It provides users with the flexibility to alter the angle of illumination to match the camera field of view and respond instantly to changes on site without having to swap their illuminator.

With set-up from ground level via a hand held remote control, VARIO makes installation quicker, easier and safer. Users can fine tune their lighting to their exact requirements and save significant labour costs at commissioning stage.
