| The installation of Chiron's IRIS Secure Apps will increase the effectiveness of Rapid Larmcentral's monitoring |
Chiron announces a new agreement with Rapid Larmcentral for the installation of IRIS Secure Apps, Chiron's Alarm over IP receiving and management solution, in both of its alarm receiving centres in Sweden and Estonia.
The deal
Rapid Larmcentral is a monitoring centre group headquartered just outside the Swedish capital, Stockholm. The company operates 2 alarm receiving centres in Sweden and Estonia, each of which will be equipped with IRIS Secure Apps. Together these centres deliver monitoring services to about 25,000 customers.
The installation of IRIS Secure Apps will not only enhance Rapid Larmcentral's ability to monitor more effectively intruder and fire installations over IP but also generate significant cost savings through extensive remote assistance and time efficiency tools. The solution will help Rapid Larmcentral to provide a more extensive level of services to its customers and a faster problem-solving attitude in comparison to other products currently used by Rapid Larmcentral.
The product: what is IRIS Secure Apps software?
IRIS Secure Apps is an application for alarm system supervision. It is a web-enabled solution providing a multi-user portal that allows system owners, installers and monitoring centres to monitor, manage, troubleshoot and analyse alarm systems anytime, anywhere and to safeguard the functionality of the IRIS Touch dialler devices.
An IRIS Touch dialler itself is integrated with an existing alarm system to establish a connection between the alarm system and the alarm-receiving centre securely over IP. This concept is commonly referred to as Alarm over IP. IRIS Secure Apps allows for remote system supervision of alarm systems that transmit alerts over IP.
