Samsung introduces Vision 2010 at ISC West and exhibits new surveillance products
Samsung's security system solutions initiative is supported with numerous new product introductions

Samsung Techwin America, a global supplier of video surveillance products combining superior performance and value, has launched a new business initiative at ISC West called "Vision 2010". Under the direction of Frank DeFina - who was recently appointed Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, North America, Samsung Techwin America - Vision 2010 is a strategic business initiative to firmly establish Samsung as a comprehensive supplier of security systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection and alarm systems. In support of Vision 2010, Samsung is displaying numerous new products at the show, and announced several new sales and marketing programmes aimed at further solidifying the company's relationships with users, resellers, integrators, engineers and consultants.

"Vision 2010 represents a new direction for Samsung in the professional security marketplace. In addition to the numerous new products and programmes we are introducing at ISC West, we will capitalise on all the resources Samsung offers as a global force in the electronics industry to deliver the best performance and value proposition attainable," said Mr. DeFina. "We see the professional security industry as a power zone for Samsung, and we are aligning our resources behind this business initiative to ensure its long-term success."

Key video surveillance introductions include a new series of 1.3 megapixel IP cameras with newly developed WiseNet digital signal processing

In support of this effort, Samsung is displaying its comprehensive portfolio of system solutions at ISC West including numerous additions to its video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection and alarm systems.

Key video surveillance introductions include a new series of 1.3 megapixel IP cameras with newly developed WiseNet digital signal processing, a new series of H.264 DVRs in models offering 4 to 16 channels, a new series of high performance analogue cameras with the company's newly developed W5 chipset, and a new series of UTP cameras and accessories to further capitalise on the inherent economy afforded by structured cable infrastructure.

Additional systems on display include: Samsung's i-Polis access control systems that integrate with the company's recording solutions; intrusion detection and alarm systems that integrate seamlessly with the company's video surveillance and access control solutions; and a military grade robotics system to get you close to the action without putting personnel in harm's way.

"This is the new Samsung," continued Mr. DeFina. "We are bigger, better and most appropriately equipped to provide the networked integrated systems that users are looking for to future-proof their installations."
