Al Portal will oversee the domestic U.S. sales team and continue to manage and direct Latin American sales
PCSC, a leading supplier of products and services for electronic access control and facility management applications in domestic and international markets, recently announces the promotion of Al Portal to Director of Sales, the Americas. In this role, Al Portal will oversee the domestic U.S. Sales Team, as well as continue to manage and direct Latin American Sales. He will also implement some of the same successful philosophies that he has applied within the International Arena to the U.S and Canadian markets.

Al Portal has been with PCSC since the year 2000, as the Managing Director for Latin America and the Caribbean. Based in Miami, Florida, Al has also managed sales in the Florida Regional Area. Al has been in the Security Industry for over 35 years, originally coming to PCSC from Ademco International, where he was the Director, Latin America Northern Regions. Al has also worked a combined 12 year tenure with Basic / PCSC and Cardkey Systems during the late 80's and 70's. In addition to establishing new business partners, he will maintain and continue to build key relationships with existing PCSC Certified Dealers. Providing personal care for their account needs, Al has been very successful in developing effective sales channel strategies and demonstrating leadership.

"I am very delighted to appoint Al Portal to this position, I know he will continue to help grow both market segments in North and South America. We're experiencing high demand for perimeter detection and access control systems, specifically in Latin America. Al will continue to promote the Fault Tolerant Architecture as sales increase in the Americas, as well as support the interest of integration with the detection products from PCSC's partner US Seismic Systems, Inc.", said Mas Kosaka, President and CEO of PCSC.

Al Portal enjoys his 23 ft Yamaha jet boat and going to beach outings with his family in the Florida Keys.
