IFSEC 2008: NICE Systems demonstrated the enhanced CORE (complete, open, reliable and evolutionary) capabilities of its enterprise-class IP video management and recording solution - NiceVision Net - for security & surveillance teams in transportation, industrial and urban environments.
At IFSEC, NICE Systems presented their expanded NVR9000 series of NVRs with new turnkey options offering enhanced recording and storage performance, integrated NiceVision Analytics and lower rack-space hardware; all measures designed to deliver improved total cost of ownership to security managers.
Two showcased NiceVision Net edge devices address key challenges in large-scale IP video surveillance. The NVE1001 delivers a single channel of full resolution, real-time video, making it ideal for integrating existing analogue cameras into new IP video infrastructure. The dual-channel NVE1002XT introduces extended temperature range operation and optional integral protection against water and dust, reducing the need for costly additional enclosures in transportation, industrial and urban environments. 
Focusing on the need for safe, secure public transport, NICE Systems will also exhibit NiceVision SafeRoute, a new and comprehensive solution for video surveillance on buses, trams and trains. The solution combines high performance mobile recordfing of video, audio and vehicle data with automatic download and live viewing over robust wireless networks.
