New service LEGIC IDConnect
LEGIC Identsystems Ltd launched in September 2014 its new Trusted Service called LEGIC IDConnect. Thanks to IDConnect, contactless chip-card applications can be brought onto smartphones – simply and securely. In addition to a trusted service manager hub, which guarantees the connection with the mobile network operators, IDConnect also offers a range of software components which enable the easy use of NFC (Near Field Communication) and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) in daily project business.
Platform independence
LEGIC IDConnect convinces with its extensive openness and platform independence. Thanks to its support of LEGIC advant and NXP mifare, it can be easily integrated in existing installations. Its independence with regard to mobile network operators, SIM providers, secure elements and wallet providers means IDConnect is universally usable. With its straightforward API technology, LEGIC IDConnect can be integrated in all back-end systems, whether access control systems, hotel property management systems or biometric systems. LEGIC IDConnect is the most straightforward and lowest-cost way of securely bringing smart cards onto mobile phones.
