V5.44 features include support for a new mobile application, increased storage, additional cameras per server and new levels of system expandability, along with greater compatibility in open architecture and platform support.
With V5.44, WavestoreUSA unveils WaveEye, the company’s new mobile applications for iPhone and Android smartphones and tablets. Users are able to tap into the power of their smart devices to stream and review video from any location. WaveEye allows users to view four live camera views and recorded playback, while WaveEye LT delivers support for one live camera view.
The new WavestoreUSA software platform is now fully compatible with innovative facial recognition and access control solutions from Herta Security, a leader in the development of cutting-edge technology and biometric solutions. The integration of these intelligent options into WavestoreUSA’s video management platform allows authorised partners to tap into new business opportunities while delivering enhanced security and business intelligence to key customers in the education, retail, healthcare, critical infrastructure and casino markets.
V5.44 also supports more channels and adds new models to its list of supported hardware. Now high-frame rate cameras and MPEG-2 encoders are fully compatible. Furthermore, WavestoreUSA’s commitment to open standards is demonstrated by its enhanced support to ONVIF specifications. V5.44 is compliant with ONVIF Profile S enhancements and, therefore, offers new levels of camera support.
