About Ofcom
The primary communications regulator in the UK, Ofcom regulates the TV, radio and video-on-demand sectors, along with fixed-line phones, postal services, cellphones, and the airwaves used by wireless phone and internet network operators. It is Britain’s government-approved regulatory and competition authority for the broadcasting, telecommunications and postal industries.
