In 2014, GlobalPlatform established a Security Task Force to define the association’s security philosophy and outline how it will become more active in the security landscape. In addition, the main objective of GlobalPlatform’s Internet of Things Task Force (IoT) is to ensure that GlobalPlatform Specifications and Configurations support and drive the future integration of secure chip technology within the internet of things landscape.
