Product description

Adams Rite 7100 Electric Strike

The Adams Rite 7100 electric strike provides remote electrical release for doors fitted with compatible deadlatches or cylindrical locksets. Electrical activation frees the keeper, allowing the latchbolt to pass without operating the latch itself. It accommodates latchbolt projections from 12.7 to 15.9 mm and works with Adams Rite 4500 and 4900 deadlatches, as well as the discontinued 4700.

A stainless steel keeper retains the latchbolt, while the flat, radius-cornered faceplate measures approximately 31.8 x 123.8 mm. Architectural finish options and optional lip extensions help installers match the strike to different door and jamb arrangements.

  • Fail-safe or fail-secure operation can be selected during installation.
  • 12, 16 or 24 V AC and DC versions accommodate different electrical requirements.
  • DC continuous-duty versions operate silently; AC intermittent versions provide an audible buzz and must not be continuously energised.
  • Optional dual Form C switches indicate latchbolt engagement and whether the strike jaw is blocked.
  • UL 1034 burglary-resistant and UL 294 listed.

Ideal use cases

Suitable for aluminium, hollow metal and timber applications, the 7100 enables electrically controlled entry where compatible mechanical locking hardware is fitted.
