AlliedBarton is committed to hiring veterans, reservists, their families and caregivers
AlliedBarton increased its military hiring efforts by 12% in 2013

AlliedBarton Security Services, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, hired more than 5,000 military veterans and reservists in 2013, fully supporting their Hire Our Heroes initiatives.

To reach military hiring goals, AlliedBarton works closely with military organisations such as the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense agency established to develop and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service members. Early in 2013, AlliedBarton signed a corporate recommitment Statement of Support with the ESGR. At that time, AlliedBarton also challenged its offices across the United States to individually sign Statements of Support with their local ESGR branches.

"The dedication to this initiative is visible throughout our organisation with 100% of our district offices signing commitments to partner with the ESGR," said Jerold Ramos, AlliedBarton's Director of Strategic Recruiting and Military Liaison. "This is an outstanding accomplishment, and these relationships on both the local and national level will help us to further our mission to hire America's heroes."

Through these growing partnerships, AlliedBarton increased their military hiring efforts by 12% in 2013, putting more than 5,000 veterans, reservists, National Guardsmen, their families and caregivers to work. This places AlliedBarton on target to hire more than 25,000 military personnel in the next five years.

"The security services industry is an excellent choice for military members moving into civilian careers, and we value the skills, dedication and drive these individuals bring to the workplace," said Ramos. "Through the hard work and commitment of our recruiters, our military hiring efforts continue to grow, and the relationships we have built with the ESGR and other organisations across the country will only help our efforts. It is truly the right thing to do."

AlliedBarton is committed to hiring veterans, reservists, their families and caregivers, and promoting this important hiring practice through their company-wide military hiring program, Hire Our Heroes. In 2013, AlliedBarton was named a top Military Friendly Employer by G.I. Jobs magazine, a top Military Friendly Spouse Employer by Military Spouse magazine, a top Veteran-Friendly Company by U.S. Veterans Magazine and received two ESGR Seven Seals Awards.
