OUTSOURCE is a compact POE injector. It injects industry-standard IEEE 802.3af POE onto Cat 5 or similar network cabling to deliver reliable remote power to IP cameras, wireless access points (WAPs) and other devices. OUTSOURCE can also deliver enhanced POE to OUTREACH Max for increased range extension and POE power. By simply routing a single network connection through OUTSOURCE it will automatically inject electrical power onto the cable whenever it detects a compatible device. OUTSOURCE is a compact, wall-mountable unit with a sealed, fanless design for reliability. Safety is assured as overload protection is incorporated and POE will only be enabled to compliant equipment. OUTSOURCE supports Gigabit Ethernet as well as 100BASE-T and 10BASE-T. In addition to IEEE 802.3af POE, it can also deliver power to Veracity's OUTREACH Max network extender, enabling extension of POE Ethernet connections to higher-power devices over longer distances.
