Mr. Scaglione is a profoundly knowledgeable safety and security expert with an extensive background and senior leadership abilities.  With more than 25 years in healthcare security, working with nationally recognised hospitals and healthcare institutions of every size and service, Scaglione is expected to be instrumental as G4S transforms security and safety best practices in the healthcare industry with leading edge ideas, innovative new products and best in class Custom Protection Officer personnel.

 With 30 years' experience as a security executive, Mr. Scaglione will be developing  and executing  long term relationships with healthcare clients to deliver safe and secure solutions by providing the best security personnel, processes, technology and expertise in order to achieve healthcare regulatory compliance and continued process improvement.

 Hospitals and healthcare institutions are some of the nation's most active public places as they provide care for people when they are most vulnerable. Because of the large volume of activity and risks associated with servicing their communities, healthcare facilities can become targets for criminal activity if left unprotected.  Mr. Scaglione joins G4S after fifteen years as Director of Security for New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he directed security and fire safety services for the multi-state operation which included a five million square foot hospital, college, office and residential complex with a $7.2 million budget. He holds a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University.

Currently, Mr. Scaglione is the chairman of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International Healthcare Council. The ASIS Healthcare Security Council is a recognised industry wide source of information and leadership on issues affecting healthcare security.
