Google Cloud has secured a substantial contract with the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) to provide sovereign cloud capabilities. This significant multi-million-dollar agreement is set to enhance NATO's digital infrastructure by strengthening data governance and enabling secure access to advanced cloud and AI functionalities.
The collaboration involves the use of Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) for the Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC), which aims to modernise operational capabilities and manage classified workloads.
