ComNet FDC1M single channel fiber break detector is designed to detect and report a breakage or the loss of optical signal in either multimode fiber plants. Featuring a self-contained transmitter and receiver, the unit provides an optical output that is transmitted continuously through a customer-furnished fiber loop, where it returns to the internal receiver section. Should the optical path be lost through a deliberate or unintentional breakage of the fiber, relay contacts in the modem immediately change their state and report the loss of optical signal.

ComNet FVR21/LV dual video receiver detects two independent AM video signals in one module on two independent multimode fiber optic cables. The unit incorporates a “Loss of Video” relay for each channel. Upon loss of video signal or optical fiber break, the normally closed relay opens. The module is ideal for CCTV installations and the rack mount version can be used to double the fixed video capacity of the C1 rack for up to 28 independent video channels per card cage. The module utilises Manual Gain control.

ComNet CNFE1002M1A-A ethernet media converter transmits and receives 10/100 Mbps data over one multimode optical fibre. It is designed to be mounted within an Aigis dome and provide optical Ethernet connectivity. The electrical interface will Auto-Negotiate to a 10 Mbps, or 100 Mbps Ethernet rate without any adjustments. The optical interface operates at a 100 Mbps Ethernet rate. The converter is environmentally hardened to operate in extreme temperatures. An LED indicator confirms equipment operating status.

ComNet FTA2C1M1 audio transmitter provides the transmission of two audio signals and one contact closure over one multimode optical fiber. The module uses 24-bit 96kHz sample rate digital encoding for superior transmission of balanced line-level audio.

ComNet FVT/FVR8SFP2R optical video link provides eight 10-bit medium-haul quality digital video channels, eight bi-directional data channels and has dual optical (SFP) ports to provide a redundant Point-to-Point topology. The redundant Point-to-Point topology using the dual optical ports provide fail safe operation in the event of loss of one fiber or one optical module. Each port accepts a wide variety of SFP modules.

ComNet FDC10M1(A) contact closure transceiver provides bi-directional transmission of contact closure over one multimode optical fiber. The bi-directional contact closure module has two relay outputs and one relay input. One relay output follows the “relay input” at the remote end. When the remote “relay input” is shorted, the local relay output is closed and vice-versa. The second relay output is closed when “carrier” is detected from the remote end, this indicates that the optical fiber is connected and that the remote end has power and is operating.
