Lighting up the dark – With the high-quality RIVA® RTC1130-320 Thermal Camera

RIVA´s high-quality RTC1130-320 is one of the world’s first thermal imaging IP cameras combining state of art thermal imaging technology with intelligent video analytics. Like all RIVA® cameras the RTC1130-320 already includes VCA Presence as a standard feature at no extra costs. Additionally VCA Detect is included meaning filters for direction detection, retention period, speed dependent detection and object classification (persons, animals, vehicles). Other VCA-filters for more specific applications can be purchased at low cost.

Not only the intelligent video analytics make it possible to use the RIVA® camera in different application areas like perimeter protection, vehicle counting, and surveillance of open countries or forest areas. An included weatherproof housing allows optimal indoor and outdoor utilisation. Furthermore five different lenses between 7.5 and 50 mm with angles of view between 6.2° and 42° allow covering long distances and large areas.

Because thermal energy emitted from a person or an object has a higher wavelength than visible light, the RTC1130-320 provides high quality images in bright sunlight as well as in complete darkness. Moreover images are not being affected by difficult weather conditions like heavy rain, fog or snow. Also hidden objects or persons become visible. Therefore 24 hour surveillance is fully guaranteed.

Available as a box version the RIVA® camera comes with features like dual stream, micro-SD, PoE and a lot more. A frame rate of up to 30 fps with a maximum resolution of 320x240 can be achieved. The RTC1130-320 has a 17µm uncooled microbolometer.
