Dahua Technology, a solution provider in the global video surveillance industry, announced its partnership with IPICA, Ltd. (widely known as JVSG), a professional CCTV design software company. Starting early December of 2017, JVSG’s IP Video System Design Tool supports most of Dahua video products. Users can visualise, automate, and standardise the planning, design and analysis of video surveillance system comprised of Dahua IP cameras and recorders. System integrators and distributors have always faced a common problem when bidding for major or high-end projects, mainly that the simulated renderings of surveillance systems can take up considerable amount of time and labor cost to prepare, largely due to the highly complex calculations required and the hand-drawn or CAD imaging yet they are still inaccurate, resulting in reduced credibility of the whole layout. It has been seemingly impossible to minimise costs and maximise the efficiency with this system. JVSG’s IP Video System Design Tool application Now with JVSG’s IP Video System Design Tool, they can visualise, automate and standardise planning, design and efficiently analyse video surveillance system, so this is no longer an issue for Dahua’s system integrators and distributors. Simply by downloading the IP Video System Design Tool and entering parameters such as the installation height, sensor format, resolution, focal length and importing the 2D or 3D models of the end users’ premises, the result is a reliable, high-precision rendering of the design. Mr. Max Shumeyko, founder of JVSG, said "It is an honor to cooperate with Dahua Technology, and JVSG is working on extending the application scale of its IP Video System Design Tool. I’m pleased to announce that Dahua’s Ultra-Smart and Eco-savvy 3.0 series of network cameras, Ultra and Pro series of HDCVI cameras, Ultra and Pro series of IP PTZ cameras as well as Pro HDCVI PTZ cameras have been integrated into JVSG IP Video System Design Tool. We will keep providing our users more flexibility in selecting suitable IP cameras when designing their surveillance systems." Improved integrated product solutions Mr. Gao Jiaqi, Dahua Overseas Marketing Manager, said: “As a global surveillance products and solutions provider, Dahua is committed to offering users with innovative products and solutions, as well as at the same time develop application tools to ease product selecting, site designing jobs for our users. The integration with JVSG provides our users with simple, easy-use and flexible site-designing tool for our users” The partnership with JVSG brings distributors and system integrators tangible benefits, including greater opportunities to secure and efficiently execute projects. Dahua has always been open to working with outstanding companies where it can benefit customers, which is fundamental to Dahua’s mission of “Enabling a Safer City and Smarter Living.”
In a move designed to support system specifiers and designers, Hikvision, a supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions, has partnered with CCTV design software supplier, JVSG. JVSG System Design Tool Hikvision distributors, systems integrators and installers will now be able to use the JVSG’s IP Video System Design Tool, to select any of Hikvision’s 2 Series EasyIP camera range, 4 Series and 6 Series smart network cameras, for inclusion in video surveillance system planning, design and efficiency analysis. Now available with Hikvision camera parameters such as resolution and focal length embedded into the software, this solution allows designers to easily enhance the level of a planned system’s security and efficiency - using 2D and 3D modelling of an end user’s premises. The solution helps identify optimal camera locations and potential blind spots, the required network bandwidth for any number of IP cameras, and the required HDD storage space needed for video archives. Quick and easy video surveillance “We’re glad to offer a quick and easy way for our customers to design their video surveillance systems,” said Greg Luo, Overseas Technical Director at Hikvision. “Helping to visually portray to customers how a particular system specification will fulfill their surveillance requirements, the new software with Hikvision camera selections, is set to provide a new level of design support, to help users optimise imaging performance and overall equipment costs, while providing improved security solutions.” Max Shumeyko, founder of JVSG said: “I am pleased to announce that IP Video System Design Tool now supports new Hikvision camera models. Hikvision’s solid year on year growth in the video surveillance industry speaks volumes about its commitment and dedication to technology and quality, at the same time keeping the products within affordable range. Along with the easy to use IP Video System Design Tool, the customers would benefit from this excellent combination of security equipment and well-designed projects.” Tailor to system preference Hikvision IP cameras come in various resolutions ranging from 2MP to 12MP. Network Bullet Network Dome, Network Turret and Varifocal models can be selected and designed in, and their versatile mix of features, such as choice of fixed lenses, built-in IR, Smart analytics, onboard storage and 12v or PoE, can all be utilised to tailor system performance.
The video planning tool from JVSG also supports products made by the Regensburg manufacturer Dallmeier. The "IP Video System Design Tool" from JVSG is a software program that is used widely for planning video surveillance projects. An extensive product database and clear 3D views provide help in choosing the right cameras and their optimal installation locations. The latest version of the tool now supports cameras by Dallmeier as well – including the Panomera® multifocal sensor systems. Max Shumeyko, a founder of JVSG, says: “I am really glad that now IP Video System Design Tool supports multifocal sensor systems from Dallmeier. Cameras like Panomera® have changed the landscape of high resolution video surveillance. With just two Panomera® cameras it is possible to cover a huge area of 100x100 metres with an image quality sufficient for people recognition.” And he adds: “Megapixel cameras and such cameras as Panomera® require proper planning. And our design software is here to help to design efficient video surveillance systems quickly and easy."
