Mark contributes a breadth of technical understanding as well as a clear vision for product depth and scope. He has been in the computer industry for over 30 years. His range of experience began with software development work at companies like McDonnell Douglas, Apollo Computers, and Hewlett-Packard as well as freelance consulting. In 1989, Mark founded Advanced Software Concepts, a software company that grew to prominence in the hierarchical storage management industry. In 1997, he founded Avail Solutions, a software company specialising in multi-tiered backup.
