ZKAccess and AMAG Technology have cooperatively tested and certified the integration ZKAccess is proud to announce that it is now officially an AMAG Technology Symmetry preferred partner and member of the Symmetry Preferred Partner Programme. Symmetry access control system The ZKAccess OP-200 fingerprint reader interfaces with the Symmetry Access Control system to provide biometric capabilities without needing additional middleware. ZKAccess and AMAG Technology cooperatively tested and certified the integration. “ZKAccess has completed the required AMAG Certification of their product integration with AMAG’s Symmetry security management platform," said AMAG Technology, Vice President of Product & Partner Programmes, Dave Ella. "The ZKAccess OP-200 fingerprint reader will provide end users with a highly secure fingerprint reader, when a biometric is the preferred option or in combination with a smart card. Many organisations are looking to add biometrics to their Symmetry system as an additional layer of security,” he added. "We are proud to offer the OP-200 fingerprint readers to our joint customers and look forward to a long partnership with ZKAccess.” Opera biometric readers As noted by ZKAccess CEO Larry Reed: "Unlike our competitors, who need to develop and sell expensive supporting middleware, our affordable Opera biometric readers communicate directly to the Symmetry Access Control system without needing any middleware whatsoever. This translates into tremendous cost savings in both material and labor for AMAG installers and end-users.” "OP-200 is just one model in our new Opera series of biometric readers designed to integrate with Symmetry," added Manish Dalal, ZKAccess COO and Product Manager.

ZKAccess COO Manish Dalal and CEO Larry Reed participating at PSA-TEC 2016 ZKAccess, a leading provider of biometric and RFID security solutions, recently returned from another successful appearance at PSA-TEC. Physical security education Presented by the PSA Security Network, TEC is the premier education and networking event that is open to everyone in the physical security industry. TEC hosts representatives from physical security integrators, manufacturers, and other industry associations every year. TEC 2016 featured three core days (May 10th-12th) of quality education and certification programs, networking, and dedicated exhibit hours designed to advance the skills and expertise of security industry professionals. Advanced biometric access control Each year, ZKAccess proudly conducts at PSA their highly attended Advanced Biometric Access Control CEU class which is accredited by the ESA, BICSI, State of NJ and the State of Florida. The class walks students through the evolution of access control, providing a clear understanding of why each new technology succeeded its predecessor. Topics covered include why PIN code locks succeeded metal key ‘n lock systems, why barcode and mag stripe readers succeeded PIN code readers, what prompted the introduction of today’s common RFID systems, and, now, why biometric security is becoming more relevant and within customers’ budgets and technical expertise. Essential information and networking The ZKAccess course was one of 50 courses offered by PSA and ZKAccess was one of over 100 leading security vendors who participated at TEC. "We are both pleased and honored to be invited by PSA to participate in TEC each year," says Larry Reed, CEO, ZKAccess. "Participating at TEC not only allows us to introduce essential access control information to attending students, but also provides us an opportunity to network with some of the brightest talented leaders in the security industry from whom we learn where to focus our R&D to best serve our customers."
ZKAccess COO Manish Dalal educated attendees on its product capabilities using a demo board ZKAccess, a leading provider of biometric and RFID security solutions, met with over 50 ESA members at the New Jersey Electronic Security Association (NJESA) Annual Symposium Expo held February 25th at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City.
