The BIOCARD builds upon the function of the BIOFOB with the same internal card activation technology, however with the addition of a new fingerprint swipe sensor that has vastly improved its performance and robustness. It is a biometrics activated device that completely encapsulates and secures the traditional RFID Contactless Smart Chip. It is built for flexibility with the following options and specifications, the battery has a typical operating life of ten years with Micro-USB recharge capability, similar as those used in mobile phones.
