Ramtech, a prominent provider of wireless fire safety solutions, has expanded its footprint by launching its first international office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This strategic move underscores the company's dedication to enhancing fire and safety measures across the U.S. construction sector and aims to create a comprehensive supply chain within the country. By setting up shop on the Atlantic coast, the Nottingham-based firm seeks to improve operational efficiency, mobilize resources effectively, and ensure a steady delivery of safety solutions to contractors nationwide, offering them easy access to equipment, training, and support.
Commitment to National Coverage
James Pecz, who heads North America, Middle East, and Global CX at Ramtech, expressed enthusiasm about this development, describing it as a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion.
"We are proud to establish a permanent presence in the U.S., marking an important milestone in Ramtech’s global growth," he remarked. "This launch demonstrates our commitment not only to partners and clients across the U.S., but also reinforces the strength of our business model, proven in the UK, and its ability to scale internationally. Our Charlotte office brings us closer to delivering safety solutions efficiently and reliably, supported by a full U.S. supply chain and national service coverage."
Collaboration with Major Construction Entities
Ramtech collaborates with over a dozen U.S. distributors, notably Space Age Electronics
In its seven years of operation in the U.S., Ramtech has partnered with construction companies such as Turner, PCL, and Barton Malow, in addition to serving the maritime defence sector.
Its flagship WES system, which has been deployed on significant UK projects like the Everton FC Hill Dickinson Stadium and the Thames Tideway, has safeguarded over 350 workers on major international endeavours, including the Hudson Detroit project valued at one billion dollars and the Gaylord Pacific Resort. Moreover, Ramtech collaborates with over a dozen U.S. distributors, notably Space Age Electronics.
Expanding Regional Reach
Ramtech has predominantly established recognition in the Northern and South Eastern regions of the U.S. but is now keen on broadening its presence into the Southern and Midwestern states. The newly inaugurated Charlotte office will serve as a central hub, facilitating the company’s efforts to forge new alliances with regional and state-specific partners.
James further noted, "As we continue to grow our presence in the U.S., this step ensures that Ramtech is not just responding to the currency of industry needs, but actively shaping the future of wireless evacuation solutions, helping protect workers and facilities at every stage of a project."
The office's opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Bruna Pacios Esposito, Ramtech’s business unit director, and Giorgio Koursaris, Orama's managing director. The event also featured presentations on product innovations by Jiayao Wang, the product marketing manager.
