Gunnebo Group has unveiled its newest sustainability report, which complies with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and underlines significant advancements across its various business sectors.
Key areas of improvement include enhanced gender diversity, increased reliance on renewable energy, and strengthened governance over supplier practices.
Progress in gender diversity
Notably, 44% of management roles within Gunnebo Safe Storage are now occupied by women, a stark increase from the previous 22%. This change demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to cultivating a more inclusive and balanced workforce.
The report reveals that renewable energy usage within Gunnebo Group has grown to 17%, an increase from 10% previously. This highlights the firm's continual efforts to diminish its environmental footprint and augment the use of sustainable energy solutions.
To bolster risk management, Gunnebo Group has introduced a unified ESG Template to assess both new and high-risk suppliers. This enhancement aims to refine the evaluation of environmental, social, and governance aspects within their supply chain.

The report further outlines how sustainability initiatives are integrated throughout the organisation, covering aspects such as supplier collaboration, business ethics, environmental and social performance. Areas of focus include EcoVadis ratings, carbon emission reductions, renewable energy utilisation, along with social metrics like safety, career advancement and gender balance.
