AES Corporation, the security industry’s leading developer of wireless mesh radio technology, announced the appointment of Mike Bugda to the position of Director of Product Management. As the newest addition to the AES management team, Bugda is responsible for leading the direction and development of the AES-IntelliNet brand product line, program and project management, strategic planning, new product launches, and executing the company vision for customer solutions.

Mike brings many years of electrical/electronic manufacturing expertise to the organisation, his background includes strong technical engineering experience with an extensive product and marketing management skill set in cross-functional global business environments. In his new role, Bugda plans to implement new processes, market research, and requirements that will fulfill customer needs and assist AES in moving to the next level.

“We are very pleased Mike has joined our leadership team at AES,” said company president Gary Shottes. “Mike has the experience, the passion, and the expertise necessary to drive our product and solution vision and strategy that will enable us to expand our leadership position.”

Mike has held positions of Senior Product Manager and Program Manager in the robotics, energy management, x-ray inspection systems, industrial automation, and semiconductor industries. Mr. Bugda holds a Bachelors of Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from New York Institute of Technology as well as a Master of Business Administration in Marketing, Economics and Business Finance from Stetson University. He has also completed all undergraduate requirements and initial coursework towards an MSEE at Boston University.
