Gordon has extensive sector experience & will help G4S deliver growth strategy

G4S Facilities Management, the FM division of global security company G4S plc, has appointed Gordon Brockington as its new Strategy and Business Development Director.

Previously Group Business Development Director at ESG and prior to that, Director for Market Development for Balfour Beatty Construction Services UK, Gordon has significant experience in both the public and private sectors, having worked with central and local Government departments throughout the UK. His expertise stretches across business and market strategy, outsourcing, contract management and executive leadership within a number of industries. 

Extensive sector experience

G4S FM Interim Regional Managing Director, Darren Jones, said: "I would like to welcome Gordon to the G4S Facilities Management business. With his extensive sector experience he is well placed to help us deliver our growth strategy in both the public and commercial sectors, as we look to strengthen our position in the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland FM markets."

Before Balfour Beatty, Gordon spent a number of years with Morrison Facilities Services and Iron Mountain. Following graduation, Gordon joined the Royal Navy, rising to the post of Executive Officer, HMS Sandown.
