Cobham's IED detection systems will be delivered in 2013

Cobham has been awarded a £16M order to supply NATO forces with leading-edge vehicle mounted Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detection equipment.

These systems will be delivered in 2013 by Cobham Antenna Systems in the UK.

Fred Cahill, VP Cobham Antenna Systems, explained: “Cobham will deliver enhanced Counter-IED detection capabilities, which can be safely deployed from within the protection of mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles. These advanced systems are designed for the most demanding military requirements and complements existing technology which Cobham provides to protect lives and livelihoods.”
