Gallagher to showcase its exciting range of innovative products at Intersec Dubai 2014

Gallagher, a leading supplier of perimeter security and access control solutions, will feature an exciting range of innovative products for the first time in 2014 at the 16th edition of Intersec; the leading international meeting platform for the Security & Safety sectors within the Middle East.

The company and its regional channel partners will use this opportunity to showcase a range of new and enhanced solutions including the v7.10 Command Centre, the Visitor Management Kiosk and the T20 card reader.

However the highlight of the Gallagher stand will be a demonstration of the unique features, benefits and attributes of the Z10 Tension Sensor and the K20 Tensioner Link System, which have both attracted significant praise within the security industry since they were initially revealed at the end of last year.

Designed to provide a superior, intelligent, attack sensor, the Z10 is fully integrated with the Gallagher Command Centre and overcomes shortcomings in conventional taut wire technologies to provide exceptional fence wire disturbance detection. Effective as a stand-alone product, the Z10's unique capacity is maximised when combined with other Gallagher detection and deterrence products in order to provide a highly efficient, layered, multi-technology perimeter solution. Enhancements to the Z10 system include: real-time tension reporting in Command Centre, enhanced cable protection and Z10-specific intermediate insulators.

Meanwhile the K20 Tensioner Link System, a perimeter fence hardware solution, offers both improved performance and aesthetics. The product has been developed to enable faster and increasingly consistent installation, while providing enhanced security and easier maintenance - part of Gallagher's enduring commitment to reduce costs whilst increasing functionality.

Other notable features include unrivaled durability (achieved through a unique blend of high quality materials and coatings) and the potential to retrofit the upgraded technology to existing Gallagher electric security fences - providing a significant capability improvement, at a relatively low cost, for existing Gallagher users. Moreover Pivoting Mount Technology, and an extensive range of accessories, enables the K20 platform to cope with a wide range of installation scenarios.

The flexibility of the K20 system is also set to increase as the technology is developed and further components are added to the design. Existing scheduled enhancements to the product's comprehensive basic capability include; enhanced climb protection, cable management accessories, and an intermediate elevation strain insulator.
