The SMR systems feature up to 48 channel local display with 1920x1080 resolution

Surveon, the complete megapixel solutions provider, continues to strengthen its megapixel recording solutions and will showcase the SMR Series, all-in-one desktop megapixel hardware RAID NVR solutions, at Secutech 2012 in Taiwan from April 18 to 20. Providing excellent cost efficiency and designed to meet the needs of megapixel video surveillance, the SMR (Smart Megapixel Recorder) systems feature up to 48 channel local display with 1920x1080 resolution in a single compact NVR solution. In addition, all SMR products come with Surveon’s intuitive VMS (Video Management Software) and provide enterprise-level features such as local live viewing, real-time analytics, multi-display, video bookmarking, instant playback, remote monitoring, HTML overlay and domain management.

In a compact design, the SMR systems accommodate up to eight hot-swappable disk drives with hardware RAID that ensures system performance and data protection. The all-in-one, non-COTS system design offers a highly integrated and proven solution for security integrators, reducing the installation, compatibility and maintenance issues associated with traditional PC+software solutions and enabling them to easily upgrade to professional small- to medium-sized megapixel surveillance solutions. The SMR systems are well-suited for mission-critical environments, such as retail outlets, restaurants, hotels, schools, banks and factories.

Surveon’s SMR solutions feature 100% in-house design and production, enhancing product stability and ensuring quality consistency.
