Installed in the wall near the entrance, the high-quality key safe is anchored to its installation location and therefore prevents keys from unauthorised access. The ABUS KeySafe consists of a stainless steel pipe with a cylinder insert made from chrome-plated brass. The front side of the locking unit only has a minimal surface area for mechanical attacks and has additional drill protection. A small keyring at the back of the removable locking unit provides the option of securing the keys and removing them with the cylinder insert, a significant added benefit when it comes to convenience.
The ABUS KeySafe is suitable for the installation of conventional profile half cylinders with a lock bit. The product can be fitted according to the one-key principle and also integrated into existing locking systems. If a key is lost, only the cylinder needs to be replaced.
The ABUS KeySafe is available in two versions: in comparison to the ABUS KeySafe 728, the ABUS KeySafe 729 model also has an additional cylinder cover made of stainless steel for protecting the cylinder.
