Cooper Security announces long term commitment to service
The investment demonstrates the company's commitment to developing an unrivalled training and technical support service
Cooper Security has committed to a new 10-year lease on its facility at Vantage Point Business Village in Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire.

The new agreement coincides with a considerable investment in the site, which will house a dedicated customer service and training facility, a state-of-the-art R&D and product development department and a sales and marketing office.

This latest announcement comes only five months after the launch of the first in a new range of panels, the i-on16, which has proven to be a huge step forward in domestic radio technology. Additionally, the touchpoint partner programme is now delivering faster and more effective technical support to over 2,000 UK alarm installers.

The investment is further demonstration of the company's commitment to developing an unrivalled training and technical support service for the security industry. The training facility will host many of the 70 touchpoint technical training courses planned for 2009, which Cooper Security offers free of charge to its touchpoint members.

Vice president of Operations Martin Mullin stated, "We have listened to our many loyal customers and developed an ongoing programme of optimising and streamlining non-customer facing costs in order to deliver the high quality products and exemplary service levels that they deserve. Cooper Security is delighted to make this commitment to our ongoing operations at the refurbished Mitcheldean facility. This demonstrates the upmost commitment and confidence in the future of Cooper Security as we move into 2009."
