Nedap’s AEOS is more flexible, future-proof and easier to use than any other security solution
Nedap's AEOS offers on-line and off-line access control that can be controlled by means of a smart card

Deployment of smart campus cards is an important topic in the educational business. Bringing together functionalities such as attendance recording and monitoring, cashless catering and campus access control has so many benefits that more and more HEIs and FEIs are implementing smart technologies to their campus sites. However, integration of these three important applications is often considered complex.

HECSA is organising a Conference and Exhibition on smart card and NFC technology on the 5th and 6th of March. HECSA offers an insight into the considerations, planning and integration of the three applications. Nedap provides presentation on how the migration to smart cards can be made simply in a controlled method while retaining old tokens. Nedaps’ unified security management platform AEOS is independent to the identifier technology. By using adaptable software and multi-technology readers the development of smart-cards is not restricted by installed hardware. AEOS is offering on-line and off-line access control, locker and key cabinet management that can be controlled by means of a smart card via a unified platform.

Nedap are focused on developing technological solutions that make day-to-day business easier. That is why development of its products is not determined by the technology itself, but by the way it is used every single day. Because of this, Nedap developed the first software based security management system with one generic controller that can adapt and evolve with the growth and changes of a company. This makes AEOS more flexible, future-proof and easier to use than any other security solution.
