Zenitel Marine's IP Infotainment solutions and CCTV systems were presented by Zenitel representatives and colleagues from Singapore, Croatia, Germany, France, Denmark and Norway, setting the standard for more flexible and competitive ships.

Nor-Shipping 2009 closed with a record numbers of visitors and exhibitor representatives; a 15 per cent increase in the number of delegates compared to 2007. Zenitel Marine enjoyed a large number of enquiries on the large 30sq m stand, strategically placed in the centre of the Norwegian Pavilion.

Products and Solutions presented include the VINGTOR CCTV systems enabling cost-effective, high quality area monitoring and video surveillance. The standard and optional features can be delivered as a stand-alone system or as functional modules fully integrated into the VINGTOR ACM Advanced system. A wide set of cameras for the different ship environments and other communication equipment will also be on show covering all your needs for remote operation and safety surveillance onboard ships.

The VINGTOR IPTV and IP Infotainment systems were also on display and are specifically designed for marine use. The systems provide functions to maximise crew welfare as well as improved information services onboard. The system uses the data network to connect TV sets in cabins and other areas to the central entertainment and information servers onboard. A wide set of Infotainment services are provided such as HD TV, video on demand, Internet, games and PC on TV to mention just a few.

Both systems will, together with the VINGTOR Data Networking and Cabling system, offer customers a complete, comprehensive package and a single supplier alternative.
