Avigilon becomes member of Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program

Avigilon announced that the company's Control Center software received Lenel factory certification for their interface to the OnGuard solution by Lenel. Now a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program, Avigilon is able to offer its customers integration between Avigilon's HD and megapixel video surveillance systems and the OnGuard solution. OnGuard delivers access control, ID credential issuance and management, alarm monitoring, digital video surveillance and management, real-time digital video content analysis, intelligent audio, integration of biometric technologies, intrusion detection, visitor management, and smart card functionality.

"Avigilon's HD surveillance system is rapidly gaining market momentum by delivering excellent video performance and overall forensic detail," said Dave Tynan, vice-president of global sales at Avigilon. "By integrating our solution with leading open design access control systems, such as Lenel OnGuard, Avigilon is helping to deliver on its promise to provide the industry with the most effective access control platform, incorporating HD video, and with minimum retraining of security personnel."
