The PowerCool™ Series from Middle Atlantic Products is the industry’s first and only integrated power distribution and thermal management product. This new family of single-space power and cooling solutions provides installers with a convenient option for ensuring security and surveillance system reliability that saves space and reduces installation overhead by combining components.
Designed to protect smaller AV systems from the damaging effects of heat, the new PowerCool Series uses Middle Atlantic’s purpose-designed ultra quiet blowers. Each blower unit removes 50 CFM of heated air while providing high static pressure to maintain airflow even in crowded racks. The unit is also energy efficient, running only when temperatures breach a safe operating threshold and at proportional speeds to ensure they only function as fast as necessary.
Incorporating multi-stage surge protection with surge status notification, the PowerCool Series additionally offers protection against surges and spikes. Models are available with 15 or 20 Amps and 10 or 11 outlets. The PowerCool Series also includes a model with a black brushed and anodised finish to match the company’s other higher aesthetic line of accessories.
