FLIR® announced its new FC-Series of IP thermal cameras for security applications.

The new FC-Series of thermal cameras set a new performance standard with Wide Dynamic Range Thermal for superior image quality when other thermal cameras fail. WDR thermal FC-Series cameras give you the best image quality and optimised video streams so you’ll get the most accurate results from your analytics possible – even in the most challenging imaging environments like when the camera is facing the sun.

Built to survive harsh operating environments, FC-Series cameras have cast metal, IP-66 enclosures, surge protection beyond industry standard, and de-icing for continuous operation in severe environments. Like the rest of FLIR’s uncooled security cameras, FC-Series cameras are backed by FLIR’s unparalleled 10-year detector warranty.

FC-Series cameras have four power options: Standard POE, Hi-POE, 24 VAC, and 12 VDC making them compatible with a wide variety of installations. They also provide simultaneous analog and IP video outputs, so they work with legacy installations and are ready for network upgrades when you are.
