Mayflex to partner with Overland Storage
Overland Storage offers a complete set of smart, affordable data protection appliances

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and physical security solutions distributor, has come to an agreement to distribute the Overland Storage SnapServer product range. Overland Storage offers a complete set of smart, affordable data protection appliances that help small, midrange and distributed enterprises ensure data is constantly protected, readily available and always there.

Overland Storage brings enterprise-class capabilities to mid-range customers through affordable and reliable solutions that reduce the backup window, improve data recovery speed, simplify short and long-term data retention and makes cost-effective disaster recovery a reality for all.

This addition to the security product portfolio sits perfectly with the existing products in the Mayflex range. For example the Mobotix range of cameras record to the SnapServer independently with each high performance SnapServer storage system supporting multiple cameras. Overland Storage, Inc and Mobotix, the leader in high-resolution IP network cameras, recently announced the formation of a strategic, global alliance , to deliver video surveillance and archiving solutions for the under 100-camera system market.

Martin Morris, physical security sales manager at Mayflex comments: "The addition of Overland products really is an important development for the security division. The products already available from Mayflex are compatible with this product range and enable us to offer complete security systems for our customers."

Morris continued: "Mayflex will be taking the opportunity to showcase the SnapServer range at the IIPSEC 2009 show being held at Stoneleigh Park, Nr Coventry in January 2009".
