Freddie Jones has track record for leading and developing a variety of technology businesses

Ingenia Technology, specialists in anti-counterfeiting technology, has appointed a new managing director. Freddie Jones, who has a proven track record for leading and developing a variety of technology businesses from start-ups to internationals, will bring added expertise to Ingenia’s senior team as the company aims to streamline both product and business development to maximise the opportunities in key industry areas.

Formerly a commissioned officer in the British Army, The Royal Engineers, Jones’ introduction adds further initiative as well as insight, which will prove vital as Ingenia continues to expand its business activity through 2013.

Prior to managing the setup of the new IT Channel Sales Division for Norbain, the UK’s leading distributor of electronic and IP based security systems, Jones co-founded Flat Rock Technology, an international web application and software development company. Prior to that he was a member of Azlan Group plc’s Operating Board, a pan European IT distribution, Training and Services business. Azlan was a leading channel partner with both Cisco and Microsoft.  Whilst at Azlan Jones undertook a number of successful roles including UK Managing Director, Managing Director UK Training, Operations Director Northern Europe and Managing Director Scandinavia.
