Cieffe launch low-cost, high-spec PROXIMA Digital Video Management System

The introduction of the new fully featured, low-cost 4 and 8 channel digital video recorders extends the range of applications for Cieffe's advanced range PROXIMA and SPECTIVA surveillance systems.  The low-cost PROXIMA provides a powerful solution to smaller-scale, entry-level applications.  The PROXIMA uses Wavelet compression technology to provide 50/60 images per second in crisp, clear high-resolution full-frame images.  Image resolution is 720x576 / 720x480 (PAL/NTSC) and both image compression and image resolution can be adjusted on a camera-by-camera basis.  All images are protected against tampering or modification via encryption.  The new low cost version also has the following features:
