Hikvision installation guide - IR bullet camera

The Hikvision IR Bullet Camera Installation Process offers in-depth, step-by-step instructions on how to go about unpackaging and assembling all the parts of the Bullet Camera together. The camera parts include camera, bracket, mounting template, waterproof cap, junction box, screw pack and wrench. The tools required for the task include the quick start guide and electric screw gun.

Steps for installation of the Hikvision IR Bullet Camera are –

• Tear off the mounting template,
• Attach the mounting template to an appropriate location on the wall,
• Drill holes according to the hole positions on the sticker,
• Hammer the expansion bolt into the wall,
• Install the waterproof cap on the network cable,
• Route the cables through the bottom outlet of the junction box,
• Secure the junction box into the wall,
• Open the memory card cover,
• Install the memory card,
• Replace the memory card cover,
• Hook the camera to the junction box with safety rope,
• Connect the power supply,
• Connect the network cable and fasten the waterproof cap,
• Protect the power supply with the waterproof tape,
• Tidy the cables and place them in the junction box,
• Close the junction box and tighten the set screws,
• Please log in the device and adjust the lens direction; 3-axis adjustment is supported (Rotate, Vertical & Horizontal),
• Loosen the screw and rotate the camera,
• Tighten the screw after rotation,
• Loosen the screw and adjust the camera in vertical,
• Tighten the screw after the adjustment,
• Loosen the screw and adjust the camera in horizontal,
• Tighten the screw after the adjustment,
• Remove the protective film on the lens,
• Installation completed
