Orion ECI, sponsors of the ASIS Texas Night, will provide a turnstile at the event
Orion ECI will showcase turnstile, biometrics, and analytics in entrance control technology at ASIS 2016

Orion ECI, manufacturer of high-end entrance control turnstile solutions, will unveil its newest turnstiles and feature exciting technology partnerships at ASIS International’s 62nd Annual Seminar and Exhibits this September in Orlando.

“We’ve had a very productive and incredible year since last ASIS and we’re excited to showcase the latest in our line of high quality, aesthetically pleasing customised turnstile solutions,” said Orion ECI President and Founder Steve Caroselli. “Our partner integrations with the leaders in technology, biometrics and analytics continue to thrive and we’re excited to share the best in entrance control technology.”

In ASIS Booth 751, Orion ECI will feature the OBSG-WAVE, an optical barrier swing-glass turnstile with Safran’s MorphoWAVE technology. MorpoWAVE is the first contactless reader to capture and identify four fingerprints “on the fly” via just a wave of the hand in less than a second. Featuring 3/8 tempter swing glass, the OBSG-WAVE yields one person per second which is perfect for high traffic lobby security.

Latest entrance control tech integrations

Booth 751 will also feature Orion’s turnstile integrations with a large variety of biometric and analytical security partners, including:

  • Blueline Technology – Facial recognition products
  • Safran MorphoWAVE – Contactless readers
  • Eyelock – Iris-based biometrics
  • qSCAN-t – Embedded reader for turnstiles, kiosks, and walls
  • HID Global – Access control cards and accessories
  • IBC – Barcode scanners
  • Identity Tech – Identity management products and solutions
  • FST Biometrics – Motion identification technology
  • Stone Lock – Facial recognition
  • Off Site Vision Holdings – Evacuation and muster solutions

Orion ECI is also a proud sponsor again this year of the popular ASIS Texas Night. Attendees are encouraged to visit with Orion ECI representatives at the event to be hosted at B.B. King’s Blues Club in Orlando on Sunday, September 11, from 7-11 p.m. At Texas Night, Orion ECI will provide a turnstile that will work in concert with ASIS show ID badges provided by integration partner and evacuation solutions provider OffSite Vision Holdings. Orion ECI will also sponsor a raffle drawing for a drone giveaway at Texas Night.

Considered the “world’s most influential security event,” ASIS International will be held September 12-15, 2016, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The event showcases operational and cyber security across the distribution channel with more than 600 companies displaying their latest offerings.
