DNAKE has unveiled the latest iterations of its Cloud Platform, with versions 2.1.0, 2.2.0, and 2.3.0, introducing advanced features aimed at enhancing user control and integration capabilities.
These updates facilitate improved team collaboration, expanded device compatibility, and streamlined access for residents.
Noteworthy features of DNAKE Cloud Platform 2.1.0–2.3.0
Customisable Management Access: The platform now allows for multiple property manager accounts at a single site, each of which can be customised with specific access levels and permissions. This eliminates the need for shared master accounts, allowing team members to use individual logins.
Enhanced Security with Two-Factor Authentication: A new security measure, two-factor authentication, has been implemented. This requires a verification code sent to the registered email address, providing an additional security layer during login attempts.
Call and Unlock Permissions: Managers can set permissions at the apartment level, determining which apartments can access or call specific devices. This feature is particularly beneficial for segments such as communal gate controls requiring restricted access.
Remote Control of Emergency Exits: The platform supports remote unlocking for emergency exits, which can be pre-configured. This feature aims to improve responses during emergencies by allowing a single tap operation from the cloud.
QR Code Self-Registration for Residents: QR codes can be generated directly from the cloud for residents' self-registration, removing the need for indoor monitors or email-based onboarding processes.
Integration with Elevator Controls: DNAKE now offers elevator control integration, allowing a single QR code to manage both door access and elevator operations, thus providing smooth floor access for approved visitors.
Unified Management for Multiple Homes: Residents can now manage different homes through a single account without the hassle of account switching.
Additional features and improvements
The platform provides proactive device fault alerts via email and targeted messagesBesides these primary enhancements, the updates include various innovations throughout the platform. Notable improvements cover personal PIN setup and offline QR code verification for residents, new integrations for smart locks and NFC-based unlocking, and improved communication with management centres via Smart Pro calling. The platform also offers users proactive device fault alerts through email and specialised messaging options for particular apartments or buildings.
For operational efficiency, features such as batch creation of apartments and mass personnel import for access control are also introduced. The user experience has been refined, ensuring a faster, cleaner, and more intuitive platform.
Device compatibility
The features introduced in versions 2.1.0 to 2.3.0 are available across a range of DNAKE devices, which include door stations such as models S617, S615, and others; indoor monitors including models E217, E216; the 902C-A master station; and access control units AC01, AC02. The elevator control unit EVC-ICC-A5 is also supported, catering to a wide array of setups.
Looking ahead: Version 2.4.0
The upcoming version 2.4.0 promises even more upgrades, including unified licensing management and enhanced account management for sub-installers. Revised import templates and smoother firmware upgrades are also anticipated, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
