ECM Ethernet Communication Module
The ECM (Ethernet Communication Module) from CEM Systems is an optimal solution for converting serial communication to Ethernet, bridging the gap between traditional serial readers and modern IP-based networks. This module seamlessly connects CEM serial devices like the S700s intelligent reader range and sDCM intelligent 2 door controllers to the AC2000 central system via an Ethernet LAN. The ECM is designed to support a chain of up to 16 RS485 devices over a single channel, stretching up to 1.2 KM, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient communication setup.
