MESSOA's new vandal-proof dome series raises the bar with its UTP cabling and DPS technology

MESSOA's new vandal-proof dome series sets a new standard for cost-effectiveness. These domes utilize Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cabling to lower installation costs and reduce video loss over long-distance transmissions. They feature compact mechanical designs, vandal-proof 1,000-kg impact resistance, and IP67 rating. They also provide a service-monitor output connector to facilitate installation and increase their flexibility. Ceiling or Wall mount is easy with the true 3-Axis internal gimbal. The vandal-proof domes come in three models: a day/night dome (SDF417U), a 120-dB wide-dynamic-range dome (SDF416U), and an IR dome with a 30-metre (98 ft.) range (SDR431U).MESSOA's Ultra Wide Dynamic Colour Surveillance Camera (SDF416U) integrates Pixim Incorporated's patented Digital Pixel System® (DPS) technology to deliver excellent image quality and colour accuracy without motion artefacts, regardless of the lighting conditions. The SDF416U is ideal for applications such as traffic monitoring, incident detection, and other surveillance activities in variable lighting conditions.SDR431U uses a 560TVL super high-resolution high-density Sony IT module for true colour daylight images. Switching to 620TVL mono at night using Filter Shift Technology and a high grade Photocell backed up by 18 inbuilt high light IR LED's for up to 30m (98 fts) illumination. A 3.7~12mm high optical quality auto Iris varifocal lens allows a wealth of viewing angles. All three models are equipped with an integrated UTP video output in addition to the conventional BNC video output. The use of simple twisted-pair cabling enables the domes to transmit video signals over distances of up to 1200 meters, making them ideal for installations such as tunnel surveillance that require long-distance cabling.
