Hikvision Multidirectional PanoVu Cameras – Simplified, Smart Protection in Every Direction
Hikvision Multidirectional PanoVu Cameras – Simplified, Smart Protection in Every Direction

Deploying video-security systems for expansive indoor and outdoor areas such as lobbies, plazas, and business parks, has been a complex task. It usually requires multiple cameras for complete monitoring of the entire area. A panoramic IP camera utilizes advanced optics and technology to offer a very wide view in various directions, while traditional cameras feature a limited field of view. The panoramic view can be achieved using a single sensor or an array of sensors (and lenses). Hikvision panoramic cameras offer an ideal solution for diverse environments, delivering expansive coverage with just one camera. With a diverse selection of camera models available, users can choose the perfect fit for their needs. Some models offer 180-degree or 360-degree stitched panoramas, while a few other models provide multidirectional views from separate video channels. Additionally, there are certain models that have an integrated PTZ lens, allowing users to zoom in on details. Check out our lineup of panoramic security cameras with unique lens and sensor options, including 360-degree and 180-degree panoramic cameras, and start exploring comprehensive security with us today! Crystal-clear imaging, stunning clarity 4K resolution gives users a clear and detailed, panoramic visual experience. Some PanoVu models feature 8K definition technology, offering an unprecedented capacity to get more detail from a scene. Minimize expenses, enjoy long-term convenience Enjoy the benefits of multiple cameras in one unit to save your budget. One cable solution cuts down installation expenses while reducing deployment time. More intelligence, more applications Hikvision Panoramic Cameras feature a wide range of deep-learning functions, such as: Regional heat mapping Regional people counting Queue management Person and vehicle detection Hikvision Embedded Open Platform (HEOP) supports for third-party applications Application scenarios Hikvision panoramic cameras offer seamless monitoring capacities for retail, office, residential, transportation hubs, and public settings. They effectively monitor aisles, entrances, and other common areas, enhancing security and safety. With wide-angle views, these panoramic security cameras enable seamless monitoring of large properties and public spaces, minimizing blind spots and bolstering security measures.

New Smart Managed Switches from Hikvision for managing security systems remotely
New Smart Managed Switches from Hikvision for managing security systems remotely

Hikvision launched a new generation of Smart Managed Switches that, in conjunction with the Hik-Partner Pro mobile app, enable installers to remotely deploy and configure security systems with comprehensive operation and maintenance capabilities. This new generation of Smart Managed Switches features a robust architecture with 6 KV surge protection for PoE ports. The full portfolio ranges from an economical 100 Mbps switches up to high-powered Gigabit switches tailored for SMB projects. Seamless integration with security systems A rapid increase in the number of IP devices needed to fit the wide varieties of security scenarios has made network switches an essential tool. However, while traditional plug-and-play network switches provide connectivity, they may not converge with other security devices to extend synergy within a system. As the network in a business scenario becomes more complex, the device configuration becomes cumbersome and actually increases the workload.  But now, with this new generation of Smart Managed Switches, Hikvision integrates connectivity with management over the entire security system through its mobile app, Hik-Partner Pro. Hik-Partner Pro weaves together cameras, alarms, NVRs, access control devices, and software, creating a unified and easy-to-use security system for centralized, visualized operations and maintenance.  Further, with the mobile Hik-Partner Pro app, entire system deployment and configuration can be completed with a mobile phone in just three steps, making delivery simpler, faster and easier. The seamless integration provides installers with an all-in-one experience. Here’s more on how it works. Remote management – just like being on-site  The new generation of Smart Managed Switches enables installers to implement network operations and maintenance remotely, with no need to be at the site they are servicing. Two elements are critical here for maintaining such a setup: an intuitive bird’s-eye-view of the system as well as a way to resolve issues that come up. Visualized network topology. A network topology, visualized in the mobile app, allows installers to view and maintain a network intuitively, easily getting updates on network health status and device connection status. Efficient troubleshooting. Installers get real-time alarm notifications when a network or a device goes down, helping them quickly and remotely locate and resolve issues ranging from port reboots to parameter adjustments and more. This significantly reduces system downtime, as well as network operations and maintenance costs. Doing more in less time with lower expenditure Remote management saves time and eliminates transportation costs for installers. With Hik-Partner Pro, installers will extend and elevate their work efficiency as they maintain products using a mobile phone from any location and at any time of day, responding more quickly to ensure stable system performance for their customers. It can be a powerful tool for expanding their business and satisfying their customer base.

Hikvision DS-PDP18-EG2(B) Wired PIR Detector
Hikvision DS-PDP18-EG2(B) Wired PIR Detector

Modern design - Delivers a small and sleek detection solution; providing a modern yet unobtrusive finish to complement any room. Detection range - Up to 18m volumetric detection coverage, the Ellipse is the ideal solution for any small to large indoor rooms and spaces. Digital temperature compensation – Digitally adjusts its sensitivity to maintain its specified range when the background temperature is close to body temperature. Automatic sensitivity - self-adapts to changing environmental conditions to maintain stability and intruder catch performance. 3D optics - Improves the detection of moving targets; ensuring more precise signals can be received from the PIR by enabling the perfect focusing of the infra-red signal onto the pyro-electric sensor. Creep-zone protection - covers the blind spot area directly below it, where an intruder may have otherwise avoided detection. Selectable EOL resistors - incorporates selectable alarm resistor values of 1K, 2K2, 4K7, 5K6 and 8K2, as well as tamper resistance values of 1K, 2K2, 4K7 and 5K6; catering for most control panels on the market. Wall and ceiling mount options - can be fitted at a mounting height of 1.8m to 2.4m . There is also a ceiling mount option available if required. Anti-insect interference - Protects the detector from possible insect infestation, as well as shielding air movement in front of its pyro-electric sensor and protecting against adverse reflections from inside the detector housing. Wide voltage - 9 to 16 V wide voltage adaptation with polarity reverse connection protection IFT technology - automatically adjust the upper and lower alarm trip thresholds when exposed to electromagnetic or electrical interference and shift the thresholds before the detector goes into false alarm.
