Mobile Install feature

A recent recipient of 2015 New Product of the Year and MVP Awards from Security Sales & Integration and Security Products magazines, the D-Tools SI 2015 software platform provides critical workflow-enhancing components security and low voltage systems integration firms can easily utilise to boost their team’s efficiency as well as their company’s bottom-line profitability.

This version of the System Integrator platform also includes the new Mobile Install feature as well as deeper integration and enhanced cross-functionality with QuickBooks, AutoCAD, Visio, and more.

Whether you are a business owner, sales professional, project manager, designer, engineer or installer, the D-Tools System Integrator platform will have a dramatic impact on your business efficiency, efficacy, and profitability.”

Enhanced integration with QuickBook

One of the most significant features of D-Tools SI 2015 is the remote functionality providing by Mobile Install. Building on the architecture of D-Tools Cloud infrastructure, Mobile Install (MI) is a feature within SI 2015 that enables users to publish Install Tasks and Service Orders to a cloud-based portal, which can then be accessed by technicians in the field from any smartphone or tablet. SI 2015 users can send and receive device-level notifications, schedule installs and make updates to a centralised calendar, then broadcast those appointments and changes to their team in real-time using Mobile Install. These adjustments and updates automatically synchronise with the SI 2015 platform for accurate time and installation tracking.

SI 2015’s enhanced integration with QuickBooks allows those using the platform to track inventory and order status, sync vendors, and more. AutoCAD (including AutoCAD 2015) and Visio-based drawings and industry standard shapes provide visual clarity and more concise communications between team members and consultants for more effective project management. This provides the basis for more accurate bookkeeping, enhanced efficiencies, and increased effectiveness in the office, field, and throughout all aspects of a firm’s operation.
