| Opengear strengthens the Hardware.com portfolio with a range of secure infrastructure management appliances |
Opengear, leading provider of next generation console server and remote management solutions, today announced a new distribution agreement with Hardware.com to extend its market reach across the UK. Opengear will strengthen the Hardware.com portfolio with a range of secure infrastructure management appliances with a focus on IM4200, CM4000 and ACM5000 models.

Founded in 2003 with headquarters in Gloucestershire, England, Hardware.com provides a valued IT partnership to organisations of all sizes with operations across Europe and the USA to allow it to assist with global projects. Hardware.com, part of the Simian Group, is BSEN ISO 9001:2000 certified and offers a range of ad-hoc consultancy, support and training in support of the Opengear product range.

"We will be working with Hardware.com in the new year to create joint market awareness program and extend our UK agreement across the international group."
Hardware.com will provide Level 1 support during standard business hours with Opengear providing out of hours and level 2 support. Hardware.com joins existing distribution partners S-Connect and Entrix to provide a wide range of procurement and support options for the delivery of Opengear solutions.
According to new research from analyst firm The 451 Group, the market for Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) is predicted to grow by around 40 percent a year between now and 2015. The market in 2011 is expected to reach $323 million and the analyst feels it will quadruple by 2015 to reach $1.27 billion. The analyst estimates are based on a survey and financial data from 30 key DCIM suppliers.
